Heart Saver CPR is designed to teach CPR (cardiopulmonary recitation) and how to relieve foreign body airway obstructions. This class covers Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and choking emergencies. The Heimlich Maneuver for adults and children and procedures to relieve choking in infants are covered. (Two year certification issued upon completion)
This class generally covers procedures for all ages but can be taught to cover procedures just for adults & children or infants upon request.
If you need a CPR certification for work, particularly in a healthclub, school, hotel, or other public place, you most likely need the HeartSaver AED with CPR class.
Those working in a healthcare environment need the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course.
