AED
Heart Saver AED, a comprehensive course for the First Responder, is designed to teach CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO).

This class is designed for those who are expected to respond to emergencies in a workplace or school.  This class provides certification in CPR for the  Adult, Child, and Infant and meets DCFS requirements for foster parents and adoptive parents.

Training will allow students to confidently operate any brand or type of AED.  Specific training on the AED model you have can be conducted upon request.  (Two year certification issued upon completion)

This class provides the credential needed by:

  • First Response Team Members
  • Personal Trainers
  • Lifeguards
  • Adoptive Parents & Foster Parents
  • School Personnel

Additionally, members of the general public will find the skills covered in this class of interest.

This class can be scheduled as a one-on-one session at a time convenient to your schedule or if you need a certification on short notice.
