Heart Saver CPR & Heart Saver CPR / AED
classes cover CPR & choking procedures for:
infants - under 1 year of agechildren - 1 - 7 years of ageadults - age 8 and overThis class will give you the required certification for DCFS -- specifically certifying you in Infant & Child
CPR for 2 years.
Child / Infant CPR and First Aid Classes are offered through the American Heart Association and lead to a two year certification.
The classes provide the credential needed by teachers, nannies, and other child care workers and meet the DCFS requirement for foster parents and adoptive parents.

Pediatric First Aid with CPR & AED addresses managing illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies. Additionally, CPR and use of an AED is covered. (Two year certification issued upon completion.)
